Our Frequently Asked Questions are a collection of common questions and requests submitted to the 2024 MIECHV All-Grantee Meeting planning team. We will continue to update this section often as the meeting approaches.

Registration

When does registration close for the 2024 AGM?

Registration will be open through January 26, 2024 or until all spots are filled.

Is there a cost to attend the AGM?

There is no cost to attend the AGM for MIECHV awardees and local home visiting program staff, early childhood systems staff, federal partners, evidence-based home visiting model developers and national technical assistance providers. What should I do if I didn’t receive a registration confirmation email after registering?

Sometimes the registration confirmation email goes to your Spam or Junk email folder. Please check there. If you still can’t find your registration confirmation, please contact info@miechvmeeting.org.

Can larger awardee teams have more than 5 staff members attend the AGM in-person?

Due to space constraints, awardee teams are limited to 5 in-person attendees. As we approach the conference and have a better sense of available space, we may be able to approve additional staff from awardee teams to attend in-person. Please reach out to your Project Officer with your request and provide the cutoff date for when you would need to get travel approvals and make travel arrangements for the AGM.

Who should attend the AGM virtually?

Unless part of the 5 staff member awardee team who are attending in-person, we encourage home visitors, local home visiting program staff, and families participating in home visiting programs to join the AGM virtually.

Abstract Submissions

I have an idea for a breakout session. Can I submit a session proposal?

The abstract submission period closed on Monday, August 21, 2023. Notices of acceptance and rejection will be sent to submitters by October 31, 2023.

Am I able to submit abstracts for both the AGM and HV Summit?

Yes. Both events have separate abstract submission processes. The abstract submission portal for the AGM closed on Monday, August 21, 2023. For more information about submitting an abstract to the National Home Visiting Summit, please visit startearly.org/event/home-visiting-summit/.

General

Am I expected to attend both the AGM and HV Summit?

MIECHV awardees are required to budget for and attend the AGM, per grant requirements. While there is no requirement to attend the HV Summit, grant funds may be budgeted to extend your travel to attend both the AGM and HV Summit during the week of January 29, 2024.

Will I earn Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) for attending the AGM and HV Summit?

HRSA and the Summit will not be providing CEUs for either event.

How do I book a hotel room for the conference?

After completing the registration form, information on how to book a hotel will be shared in your confirmation email.

When does the hotel room block close?

Hotel room block closes on January 8, 2024.
